Synopsis
Chine, 1989. La belle Yu Hong quitte son village et son fiancé pour étudier à Pékin. Elle y découvre un monde sensuel, complexe et érotique dans les bras d'un autre étudiant, Zhou Wei. Leurs rapports tournent au jeux dangereux alors qu'autour d'eux, les étudiants commencent à manifester, exigeant la démocratie et la liberté.
